Default PT Crusier starter doesn't crank

Hello,
I have a 2006 PR Cruiser. It ran since i have it but I parked it at the parking spot for around 2-3 month. I tried to start the car, the starter turned but the battery was already low. So, I got my jumper battery and tried. The starter turned 2 or 3 times and then nothing.

So, I tried to fix it. I replaced both relays on the driver side under the hood. They supposed to be for the starter and drive module but it didn't fixed it. I replaced the starter and it didn't fixed it. Right now, when i turn the key, I hear a clicking coming from the relay, on the driver side under the hood. I also, hear the fuel pump kicking in and all lights come on.

Not sure what the issue is. Should i put a volt meter on the starter? if so, how should i connect to measure it out?

First I would suggest you get a battery load test done. Make sure the battery load tester has the correct amps the battery is suppose to support.

If the battery checks out good I would check to see if critters have eaten through some wires if you leave the PT Cruiser outside.

TCM? I replaced the PCM 5 month ago which is on he driver side under the hood. Is this the same? When i replaced the starter, i removed the battery and the battery tray, there was nothing under it (wires or so).

TCM = Transmission Control Module

As you can see, it's in a nice place for critters to crawl into with lots of wires to munch on.

On the 06 and up the TCM is part of the PCM.. Maybe just a miss-spelling.

Did you connect your jumper battery in parallel with the original installed? If the original is internally shorted it will draw the voltage down on the good battery causing a no or slow crank.
Make sure you battery cables are spotless.

Yes. I connected the jumper battery correctly.

The interior lights and dashboard lights are coming on. The starter just doesn't turn. That's when i thought it would be the starter relay but it wasn't. I couldn't find a starter fuse so I checked them all and they seem to be ok. I might take my meter and check each fuse itself. The starter itself is new

I understand you connected the jumper battery correctly, you may want remove the old battery from the system and try..

dirty terminals or a battery with a few dead cells could be a hindrance in try to start it even with a jump.

What does the battery voltage go down to when you are trying to start it? This will give you an indication of where the problem might be.

FWIW, the lights working is not much indication of a good battery. I've had mine work and still needed it on a boost for a long time to start.

Take your battery out and go get it load tested, for goodness sake. You ran it down. Ask the parts store to put a charge on it and then load test it for you. It sounds to me like that's your problem. Stop ignoring all of the suggestions to get it load tested.
