obviously a very generic list geared towards a RWD car that has a fuel filter. that's in your owners manual? LOL

what mileage are you at?

Thanks! I put that into a tracking spreadsheet a couple of years back, and must have taken a generic one and padded it with some numbers from the manual ( then forgot to delete the stuff that wasn't in the manual...)

SO there is no differential, and we can forget about pulling the fuel tank every few years ?

He mentioned he took that info from a "generic" maintenance plan. In addition to throttle body cleaning, which some shops do on or off the vehicle, some shops recommend and do an injector cleaning service, which introduces cleaning chemicals in the fuel system. Is it worth it and do they really work or are they more effective than just using good quality fuel or adding a bottle of fuel additive periodically to the tank is probably open for debate.

I'd say it's open for debate. I have never had an injector problem. I run a bottle of Techron Fuel Injector Cleaner through my tanks about every 10,000 miles. I've had vehicles go well over 200,000 miles without any injector problems at all.

A few years ago, when gas prices were real high, I started using Murphy (Walmart) fuel, because it was much cheaper. Others will probably want to argue, but I'm convinced their fuel killed the O2 sensors on my PT, and it ran like crap. Replaced the sensors and have only used name brand (Shell, Texaco, etc) fuels and have not had any fuel problems since. Once in a while I might run a bottle of a fuel additive through the tank.

It is in the transmission. So technically that one would still be accurate.
