Default Power Seat swap on 2008 PT Cruiser Base and no power

I have a 2008 base model PT Cruiser and replaced the standard seats with leather power seats from a wrecked 2008 PT Cruiser Limited. I had no problems replacing the seats and bolting the leather seats in. However, after everything is plugged in, there is no power to the power seat. Any ideas?

Will i have provide an A/C power source to the seat motor or the switch?

Thanks for any help!!!

First thing I'd do is check the connection and see if there's power to it. If not, check the fuse box. You may have to use an unused cavity in the fuse box to provide a power source. Just make sure you pick one that has power to it!

Ok...i checked the fuse panel and the 40amp power seat fuse was already there. Ill check to see if power is going to the seat motor. I see there is a red wire going into the grey seat connector, do you know if i can splice into that and run that wire to the seat motor?

If it has power to it, I don't see why not. BUT, I'm not an ASE Certified mechanic. I'm not a mechanic nor an electrician by trade. I'm a disabled pipe-fitter.
