That is kind of perplexing, because the fuel filler is still on the passenger side of your PT, so while they reversed some things on the export models, not everything.

Can you please post a few pics of the engine compartment of your PT? Would like to see what is reversed in there, and what isn't. Thanks in advance.

rckstein, I remember a while ago a PT Cruiser Forum member from Great Britain was asking about the possibility of acquiring a left fender from a USA PT Cruiser as he wanted to eliminate the radio aerial hole from the fender we consider the "driver's side front fender.

I would imagine any number of things under the hood have to be reversed to accommodate that "right side steering wheel".

This tidbit of inquire isn't at all related to "SHOW US YOUR PT" but maybe some of out Canadian members could illuminate left side right side of the road driving in Canada in a separate thread. I do know Newfoundland drivers drove on the left side of the road till 1947 and some parts of Canada drove on the left side of the road till just after WW2. New Britain and the Atlantic Provinces drove on the left side of the road till the 1920's. I wonder how that driving differential was handled at borders!

Left side of the road went all went back to medieval times. Most swordsmen being right handed, they want their sword hand nearer their opponent as they passed! Thus passing on the left. En garde!

Inquiring minds want to know!

Happy PTtin', ptprice

Now that I look at my engine bay and compare it to others on here, it all looks much the same ?

Dazzaman, it looks like your windshield washer bottle is on the opposite side. The rest of it looks familiar. j
