Cranked up my touring 06 cruiser and all the dashboard lights are out. Dome lights are out/light toggles for windows are out but windows work. auto Door lock switch doesn't work but are lit up. Headlights/taillights/fog lights come on and work fine. Checked fuses and all look good. Not sure what the problem is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW Happy New Years!!!!

Pull up on the 2 fuses marked & push them back down...do this 3-4 times to remove any debris.
If things still aren't working, if you pull the same fuses & pull to the right, the clip will usually release & you can check to see if the fuses are good. IMG_20160201_100249a.jpg

It seems all of your issues is controlled by the instrument cluster according to the wire diagram I have. I would suggest checking all 3 of the G202 ground wires going from the instrument cluster.
If the ground wires are good I would suggest checking the C2 plug going to the Instrument Cluster. You might have bad contacts on the C2 plug. Its possible you might have bad solder contacts on the Instrument Cluster but this is the last thing you should check if everything else checks out good. Have you tried adjusting the instrument cluster dimmer? I would suggest doing a full electrical diagnosis before replacing anything or removing anything.

I have 2004 PT turbo touring. Headlights, tail lights, door locks do not work. Checked fuses all seem good. I read somewhere to check multi function switch. Does anyone know where it is?
Everything worked. Parked. Had coffee. Then door locks not work. Started car. No lights. (Signals & 4 ways & brake lights worked , park lights all worked) then driving it engine light came on and of course ding ding ding. When I touched brake ding ding stopped but still had no lights and door locks not work. Any suggestions? |

You said your check engine light came on? What were the codes? I would tell you to do the key dance, but I don't want to get scolded. If it is dinging or the CEL is flashing that is an immediate serious problem, not a wait until I get home problem. My Key Dance video
