@pauljones: In Europe it was, for a short while, a moderately popular midsize car. Picture: market share of the PT in the Netherlands. Like you can see the interest in the car plummeted rapidly. In 2001, the year it had the highest market share, it was the #75 most popular new car measured by sales.

I think this YouTube video is a much better description of how folks once felt and now feel about the PT Cruiser.

Pt Cruiser = Bag of Brown.?
.
I don't know if that's a good thing...or bad
Watched the video and think....
after all the "Modern VS Postmodern" Yap
For me why I like the PTC was right about 15:20
.
and want to add...
It is Non of my business what other people think of The/my PTC
that's not Why I own one.

......In a nutshell the fact that I do not want to change Much on this car
for me (the guy who just put a truck motor in a 69 vette)
Speaks Volumes

Maybe I'm getting lazy.?
( let you know after twin cam conversion econobox)
.
......W...

Yep...

I could have done without all the postmodern stuff too. But I do think this guy, more than others, has really hit the nail on the head when it comes to why folks don't like the PT Cruiser anymore.
