Wow, you REALLY gotta love PTs to pay $12,500 for that! He probably has more than $20K in it when including the body and paint work, the chrome and other things. Don't get me wrong, it is something special, but wow!
And, you are going to have to get specialty (collector) car insurance for it.

I sent the seller and email, it has 100,000 miles on it and the timing belt and water pump have not been replaced. Doing that work would likely mess up that pretty engine bay.

Can't help but wonder how many people dump their PTs when it hits 100K and they find out how much a timing belt costs?
