The vehicle looks great on the outside, not a "beater" and looks like it's had regular maintenance, one has to wonder how the head gasket blew? Looks like you got a great buy

Well, I hope it is all that it appears to be, you see I bought this car sight unseen in California. I did get some good info from the seller and the vehicle history report shows it just passed emissions testing in December before the head gasket issue. My main draw was the price and it being a GT turbo with a manual transmission. Somewhat hard to find in the condition this one appears to be in. By the time I pay shipping cost to Indiana well the price will increase significantly but still reasonable in it's present condition. I will get some more pics to post when it arrives here. It does have a new radiator, water pump, and ECM that was listed as replaced.

Thank you and I certainly hope so. As far as the head gasket when it gets here I can update my findings.

If it lived its entire life in CA for 13 years, take a look underneath and prepare to be shocked. You'll see how well preserved the underside parts will be if it lived in a benign environment.

Congratulations! Good luck with it.

Everyone's GT wheels look so good, while mine are peeling and tarnishing. Of course, mine look great in pictures too.

We basically have the same thing here, in North Texas, not much vehicle rot, and far enough from the Gulf (salt water) moisture.
