I have a 2004. The front right turn signal wires have broke. I am trying to explain to the guys at auto part stores that I need a new socket and they look at me with blank stares. What ist he part where the wires go in called?

It's called a turn signal socket. I'm guessing you're at an Autozone. Get out of there and go to a NAPA or O'Reilly Auto Parts. You'll PROBABLY have better luck. But if you want an OEM Mopar socket, you'll have to go to a dealership and they'll probably have to order it. Why don't you just solder the wires back together and use some heat shrink to seal the job?
