My 08 Cruiser/45000m underwent complete AC replacement that lasted a year blowing cold air now it is not cold. The system is charged. My question..does outside air temp affect if a properly running AC is blowing cold air

Do you mean still blow cold air when your a/c is off?

Negative
Blows ambient temperature when the AC is on. I was wondering if it has to be warm outside for the AC to blow cold Thanks |

I would suggest checking to see if the radiator fan is working properly to keep the A/C condenser coils working properly. With the engine cold, start the engine, turn on the A/C and see if the radiator fan comes on automatically.
Does the A/C get cold on the highway?

Hot outside or cold outside, a properly working a/c system will blow out cold air. If you're not feeling cold air, then there's a problem.
