Default Just About Done Replacing Parts

I purchased my Cruiser the beginning of December and I'm finally about done replacing parts. As with any vehicle I buy I always go over them and service whatever needs to be done and sometime a bit more. I'm the 3rd owner and from what I can tell other than oil changes the last owner did very little maintenance. At least they had the heater core changed before I bought it.

So far I've done the following:

Timing belt (complete kit)
Both Torque struts and engine mount
Front and rear Struts/shocks
Both front wheel bearings
Both front control arms and tie rod ends
Spark plugs and wires
Drive belts with tensioner and idler
Alternator
4 new tires
4 wheel alignment
Windshield (had a crack along the bottom)

Next on the list:

Brakes and rotors front and rear.
Radiator hoses
Trans filter/fluid change.
Heater control cable retaining clips and adjustment

When I got the car it didn't have heat I found whoever changed the heater core broke/lost the retainers for the control cables and used wire ties to hold the cables in place. The adjustment is all wrong as well. I did a quick repair to get at least the defrosters and dash vents blowing heat. I ordered the retainers and will have them this week. Hopefully the adjustment issues will be at the controls.

Barring any major engine or transmission failures I should be in good shape now.

Don't jinx yourself. I pretty much replaced all the same parts you did during this last couple months and thought I would be good to go. After driving it daily for a week, ding. Check engine light. Hhhmm, what could it be.

P0441 Evaporative System Malfunction Incorrect Purge Flow
P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold

They could be related. Troubleshooting in progress. Hope you have better luck.

Calipers, Rotors, Brake Pads and Hoses

Spark Plugs and Wires

This week hopefully i'll get the following replaced this week.

Wheel bearing and hub assembly

Motor mounts (3)
Oil pressure switch\sender (oil light goes on when car is first started)

Thanks for you post.
