They could be worse (IMHO)...
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ...and one for "it could be worse" for the rear.. ![]() Sorry if I offended anyone but I think Brian Nesbit did a fine job on designing the PT as it is. Last edited by CREWZIN; 05 Mar 2017 at 06:09 pm. |

![]() Labeled and sold as "Tear Drop" taillights. Pretty close to ours (front and back). Take this, make it bigger and slant it down towards the back and ....WALA, A giant Teardrop. Last edited by CREWZIN; 06 Mar 2017 at 11:21 am. |

Just a personal PT opinion. Keeping with the teardrop, egg shape or elliptical (what's in a name?) of the PT, I stayed away from those adventures of the bolt on and molded in head light pod marvels seen in that selection of PTs that CREWZIN posted. Most of those efforts started out well but they just didn't know when to stop! It seems like they're just an effort of "GUILDING THE LILLY" when they got to the "BOLT ONS" Some of the PTs in that selection were tastefully modified with different but complementary new head light shapes and other modifications that enhanced the original uncluttered flow of design of the PT.
I chose to replace my tail lights as one was cracked. Good excuse. I found these on the internet for actually less than a pair of originals. They met every criteria I was looking for; economical, same original shape, better illumination than the originals and they blend with SOOO BIGs Cool Vanilla White finish better that the stark red of the original tail lights. So long live the teardrop shapes on PTs! Happy Ptin', ptprice SOOO BIG does't need suspenders anymore 008.jpg

Some things I liked at first. As time went on. I know longer wish to have them. I do plan to go all red on the tail lites. Will still show up as yellow when flashing. And mid the backups I got from A good friend. 😊 To give them a smaller look. They will still be high gloss. Have not seen a headlamp mod I care for yet.
