Hate to start a new thread since this is likely related to my other issue (see "Locks gone MAD"). I pulled the fuse so thath the door locks would not lock and unlock by themselves (no remote FOB is nearby to cause this). Now we are seeing that the interior lights are coming on/off by themselves when the care is parked. Of course this drains the battery.
I am starting to think it may be a bad door switch/latch. What is the best way to troubleshoot the doorswitches/latches? What would I be looking for to verify they are engaging properly? 2004 PT Cruiser Touring Edition. Thanks! --scott |
