Default Timing belt replacement question, disconnect A/C lines?

I am looking at replacing the TB on my 09 Base Cruiser (along with the idlers, water pump, tensioner, center motor mount, drive belts). The car does not have cruise control but it does have A/C. I've read that evacuating and disconnecting the A/C lines greatly speeds up the job.

Should that be done?
I might be able to rent the gauges and pump so the cost would only be for new refrigerant. Otherwise I'd have to pay for the entire evac/recharge job.

Most members that have done the timing belt themselves have successfully done them without discharging the a/c. I THINK you just have to be careful with how high you raise the engine. WATCH THOSE LINES!!!!!

While you're in there, you should replace the cam and crank seals
