Default 01 PT alternator on GT motor

I mounted my 01 PT alternator on my turbo motor but I had to use my mounting bracket (adjustor) from the original motor. I really don't want to drop another 100 on an alternator if I have a brand new one from my motor. Will it be okay?

Since you don't state what year the GT is, it may or may not be good enough. IDK. My 03 GT has a 130 amp alt and the 01 is rated at 120. To me, 10 amps shouldn't make much difference, but I'm NOT an ASE Certified mechanic. I did notice that in 06 the alternator rating on the GT changed to 136 amps and covers all of the GT's until the 09 (last year for the GT). Maybe to accommodate the TIPM? I don't know. If it were me, as long as the pulleys line up, I'd give it a shot. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? If you want part #'s, here you go. For the 01-02, R111142B, 120 amps, 03-05 GT, R110039B, 130 amps, 06-09 GT, R1100224B, 136 amps. All part numbers are O'Reilly Auto, in case anyone wants to know. That's where I shop.

You should start stalking neon forums. They use pt parts as upgrades and would likely have more info about swapping and interchanging stuff.

The alternator should be fine provided you keep the 01 connector.

The bracket? Idk, theres a turbo back there now. Does it fit?

Does anyone have pictures of all the alternator bolts because I'm having trouble finding them and I have no idea what they look like
