PT Cruiser 2007 Engine will not turn

Hi Guys, I am new to this forum. I have a Pt Cruiser it was making a grinding noise come to find out engine was low and the Compressor Pulley was hiting the front bumper and made that grinding noise. I took it to my mobile Mechanic and he replaced the top and bottom motor mount. Car drove well for about a week and the grinding noise was back. I was checking my Car to find out the Compressor pulley is hitting the front bumper again. Further investigation I notice the middle mounts torx screw was loose. I went to Autozone to buy the middle motor mount...... I did not know how difficult it was to replace the mount. Needless to say it took me 2 days to replace the motor mount. I was close to give up. Now after i finished the work I felt good about the wok I did.
Try to start the engine I hear a click and a try to turn for 1 sec. ...... I was beside myself i was at a loss. I was thinking and thinking ....maybe the battery needs to be recharged I recharged the battery installed it and still the same issue hear the starter but the engine does not turn ?????

I am suggesting that you might have disconnected a wire during your center mount replacement. Was any wires manually disconnected before replacing the center mount?

Did you check the voltage on the wire going to the starter from the ignition switch?

Does the battery voltage drop when you are trying to start the engine?

How did you accomplish replacement of the center mount, did you remove the engine?

Check the starter wire.
