Gear Ratios
Now, I know this may seen trivial to some people, but recently I was asked a question about the PTs I had no answer for. I have two PTs ('02 and '05, both autos) and the question was what sort of gearing to the road do these things have. In all my years with the PTs I never knew! I do know that these two are geared just the same reflecting from the speedo and tach. I do know at 60 they run right at 2,300 rpm and at 80 3,000 rpms even. But the differential gearing along with the overdrive ratio I cannot find. I have tried the search feature here with no luck, no matter what key words I put in, and my owners manual has nothing. Does anyone know or know where I can research this info? Thanks in advance of any help.
