heater core

just started dismantling the car to change the heater core which is leaking. Having problems finding the heater core here in Europe so i was thinking most likely it's the same heater core in my 2.0L like in the US version 2.4 which i could buy from rockauto. Any ideas, or how do i find the OEM number for the parts that fit my car? Do i have to pick it apart first to see or is there another way?

Do you have a dealership that you can contact? Using the VIN on your PT, they should be able to give you the MOPAR part numbers for what you need. You should then be able to search online by those part numbers.

Also, I think several members have mentioned that since it is such a huge job to tear out the dash to replace the heater core, that you should also consider replacing the a/c evaporator core at the same time.

It's one of those "might as well" things as you would hate to get your car back together, and then that part go out. Good luck, your in for a big job, take plenty of pics along the way so you can get everything reassembled correctly. I wish you success.
