Hello all, I have been searching the forums for quite a while now. Maybe somebody will have the answer for me. I am looking to change out my rear hatch glass. Is it a gasket that can be soaped and roped or is a urythane/butyl adhesive of some sort? Any help or ideas would be great. thanks in advance

I would call an auto glass company, they can certainly tell you how it's held in. I had the windshield replaced on my PT and the frame (gasket) is molded and encapsulates the glass, it is not reusable and must be replaced as a complete unit and is held in place by a special urethane adhesive. The hatch glass may be the same way, but the glass company will be able to tell you.
