Default Correct block and head to rebuild

I have a 2005 2.4L Turbo HO engine. The one with the plastic intake. I have been told I need the engine rebuilt and the head done.

If I got another block and head to rebuild to put in place of the original engine what block and head should I look for.

Can it be a non-turbo block or a turbo block or does it need to be a HO turbo block. Same with the head.

Any other comments would also be welcome. Thanks.

Default Re: Correct block and head to rebuild

I believe the Turbo engine block is unique to the Turbo cars. Heads may be the same as n/a engines.
