Default What the heck is this wire?

2002 PT Cruiser Limited.

Saw this wire hanging underneath the car by the driver side front wheel. No problems that I'm aware of. No warning lights, all lights high/low beams working fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum

Looks like the pigtail for driving lights. Does your PT have driving lights? If not, just tuck the connector back up inside the wheel well/bumper fascia.

I have to agree on the pig tail. If you have them. This might say your switch is letting the driving lights stay on. We have a fix for that tonig so.

Cool Re: What the heck is this wire?

I would agree that it is for a fog/driving light.

Thanks guys. The wife says the "fog lights" (yellow) are working, I'm not sure she knows how to check if it has running lights. I'll have a look tonight when she returns. After searching "pt cruiser running light cable" the plug matches exactly. Good looking, guys! Thanks so much!
