Default 2006 A/C expansion valve/orifice?

Does the 2006 PTC use an expansion valve or orifice? Where is it located? Thanks.

This should answer the first part of your question.

I find it ironic that the colors red, white, and blue stand for freedom until they are flashing behind you.

Thanks, that answers both questions.
Now the trick part: how do you replace the hose? The part on top is easy, but the other end goes into the lower port of the condenser. The only way I can see to stick my arm down there is to take out both upper and lower intake manifold. That can't be, can it? Don't think I can get to it from the bottom either.

Sorry, not sure how to replace it. Never had to. Maybe someone will come along with experience on that work.

why do you want to replace the expansion valve?? I would test it first, if you turn air on and have a gauge on the low suction side line, then rev engine, if the reading goes to 0 then the expansion block is defective
