Default Over-heating and possible water leak!

I have 1 2003 pt cuiser with 140000 miles. When I got the car a belt would squeal sometimes when I started it for about 20 seconds. It would happen more often when I would start the car with the ac one. Then about a month ago my ignition coil went out driving on the highway. I got it replaced and less than a week later the car started to over-heat. Found out the thermostat went bad so I replaced that. After about another week it began to over-heat again and I found that it was not retaining all the water. I would fill up the radiator, drive it for about ten miles and would be able to add more water. I have been putting water in before each time I drive the car. When I turn the car off after driving I hear the overflow tank boiling. Also, when the over-heating started after changing thermostat the a/c stopped blowing cold air. I do not know if this is all related but I wanted to give all the information to better be assisted. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Sounds like your radiator fan isn't working the way it should. It is also the fan that should run every time the ac is turned on. Check to make sure that is happening first.

Does it overheat at high speeds or at low speeds or both?

Have you done a engine coolant pressure test to ensure your engine coolant system is sealed and holding the proper PSI?

I will check the fan this evening.

The speed I drive hasn't really made a difference, it heats up while driving on highway or in traffic.

I have not done a pressure test. Is it a very simple procedure?
