Default Vinyl Racing Stripes

I'm considering installing two, 6", flat black it maybe gloss black racing stripes on my PT, even though I don't race, and it's slow. I like how they look, so that's good enough for me.

I found this on eBay
Chrysler PT Cruiser racing rally stripe stripes graphic | eBay

Is $70 a good price for these?

I'm not sure I would be able to install them well, so any idea what a shop would charge?
I want them on the hood (emblem.removed, to put them on, then emblem reinstalled), roof (iI have a sunroof), and the back hatch (under the emblem).

Also, it lists they can come with or without transfer tape. What's transfer tape?

@rob302 you're the resident expert on this stuff.
You too, @nitropt right?

Hahaha Sounds like my bath time.

I'm sure I COULD do it. I'm stubborn enough to try.

But I'd be pretty pissed off at myself if I put them on crooked...

Masking tape and a tape measure to make sure they are even. Pull the backing, spray soapy water on the car and both sides of the stripe, lay it down, move it around until you like the placement and squeegee. Easy-peasy!

I'm serious, YOU GOT THIS!!!! I'm no expert, I've done it before and I aint SKEERED to do it again!

The seventy dollars is not bad, if they come pre cut to length.

Sounds easy enough... (que the foreboding, scary music).

They say they sell you enough to do it all, but I don't think the pieces are precut to length.

I LOVE how these stripes continue on to the grille, but I have to assume that's paint and not adhesive vinyl.

I'm sure that has to be paint. You would never get the tape to lay right.

HEY, you painted your bumpers, tape it up and spray it!
