Default nervousness...

Well its been more than 2 years since we've had a major issue with our '05 l.e. 2.4na, aka "turtle"... should I be concerned? Perhaps... the only issue is a minor one that surfaced sunday at the grocery store- the key decides when and where it gets stuck in the ignition with the engine off and in park! easy enough fix I'LL TAKE IT! we are at 140,000 miles thus far, hang in there little turtle, I love you.
Another note; who ever makes Chrysler alternators must also make parts for the jet propulsion lab. man they sure do last...
carry on cruisers, mark twain and alls well
I hate to say I thought my wife was suffering from blonde issues when she said she couldn't get the key out...sorry baby.

I clearly said "I love you"... and I meant it! kinda in the way we love and serve cats but the cats couldn't give a damn so long as they have food and clean litter boxes...

Blinker fluid or muffler bearing will be the next thing to need attention. Just you wait and see.

I think the OP is just living in a fantasy world. And I can guarantee you that the Turbo Encabulator on that 2005 is already bad.

Back in 2005, there was a shortage of drawn reciprocation dingle arms. So Daimler Chrysler acquired an inferior supply from Yugo. As a result, the Turbo Encabulator is destine to fail prior to 87,300 miles of normal driving.

When replacing the Turbo Encabulator, be sure it's Mopar brand and that the manufacture date is February 2013 or newer. Older stock may still be from Yugo and the aftermarket ones will often throw trouble codes for no reason.

Here's an ASE Master Tech video that explains how to service and replace it.
