Default 04 PT CRUISER WITH BUNCH OF CODES P0300 P0315 P0335

04 pt cruiser, can not go over 55 mph, at 55 it loses power and just can't push it over 55.

timing belt and tune up that included plugs , wires, fuel filter, air filter was done about a year ago.

the check engine codes were pulled by autozone. here is the list they gave me.

P0300
P0315
P0335
P0300
P0315
P0335

somebody mentioned to me that all these codes could be because of a jumped timing belt.

does anybody have any idea what to check for here?

I am tired of going 55 on the 70 and the horrible gas milleage.

thanks

Google "sites than present code info and translation" , or words of effect .
I'd run a leak down test , or just a compression test in order to know what we have .. I doubt the jumped timing, but a test should determine this...

First, Welcome to the forum.

I would suggest resetting the codes and making sure the same codes come back before replacing anything.

If the same codes come back here are some info for you.

Fault Code P0300 - Multiple Cylinder Misfire
A misfire code in a specific cylinder (P0301-Cylinder #1, P0302- Cylinder #2, etc.) usually indicates a possible problem with a plug or ignition wire. A P0300 code indicates the misfire is random and moving around from cylinder to cylinder. The cause here would likely be something that upsets the engine's air/fuel mixture, such as a major vacuum leak, leaky EGR valve or unusually low fuel pressure (weak pump or faulty regulator).

Fault code P0315 is set when the PCM is unable to learn and correct for mechanical variations in the Crankshaft Pulse Wheel tooth spacing (the allowable correction tolerances have been exceeded).
1. Inspect the Crankshaft Pulse Wheel for damaged teeth.
2. Inspect the Crankshaft Pulse Wheel for wobble.
3. Inspect for a loose Crankshaft Pulse Wheel.
4. Inspect the Crankshaft Pulse sensor for damage.

Fault Code P0335 - No Crankshaft Position Signal
Causes:
1. No signal from PCM
2. No 5 volts
3. No Crank sensor ground
4. 5 volts shorted to ground

I would suggest the first diagnosis points to be checked out below.

Make sure your battery is good. I suggest doing a battery load test to make sure your battery and generator is working properly.

I would suggest checking the Crankshaft position sensor connector. Make sure its making good contact and make sure the crankshaft sensor is not loose. Some members have found the sensor to be loose.

If the above is good check the crankshaft sensor.

Post what you find so far after the above diagnosis points have been covered.
