Default Replace Battery, it seems so simple??

Hello All,
I need to replace the battery in my 06' Cruiser GT 5spd. How do I get the intake tube/pipe that comes from the fender and feeds into the air box out? I don't want to force anything or pull up too hard. Does it need to come all the way out as one piece or does it disassemble? Seems like there is not enough clearance to the left towards the block to pull the tube all the way out of the box? Any instructions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and thank you for this wonderful forum to get and give help.

Bryan

The bottom of the air box comes out hard if you have not removed it for some time
Sets in rubber gormats on the bottom need to pull hard will come out

If you answered “yes” then parts car is a really good idea.

So you good people are saying. Just pull up on that tube WITH the air box and it will lift out also? No disassembly? Pop the two air box lid clamps. Loosen and disconnect the tube on the air box lid that is above and behind the box. Then pull up HARD on the air box and fender tube?? That's it?? I'm not going to break anything (besides my knuckles)?? Two spring clamps, one hose clamp and PULL UP HARD?? Yes? Cause I can do that! I just don't want to be surprised when I wasn't supposed to do that!

Why not just take it to your local auto parts store and have them do it for you? That way you can see how it's done and not even worry about getting your hands dirty.

The only thing you have to remove is the Air Tube on the back of the box...

Then lift up on the box, and remove the PCV hose on the lower left side.
The box has a rubber grommet on the bottom that slides over a metal tab...
So, once you have unhooked the 2 hoses, just grab the box from the sides & lift up.
