What did you do to your PT today?

Bored yesterday, and had some left over carbon fiber vinyl wrap laying around.
So, I wrapped the drab black center bezel!

Dropped the Panel PT 1 and a half inches this morning!!

TODAY ( for the first time ever...) Unfurled the BLOCK HEATER CORD.



... was minus 20 C ( about -4 F)

Replaced the headlamp bulbs, one had blown out. I can't complain, they're the originals (I don't remember replacing them) 19 years old and 145 K miles.

55 watts each, that's 110 watts through the multifunction switch. No wonder the multifunction switches are problematic.

Got the bulbs at Walmart, they have a reasonable price. I've noticed bulbs are pricey at the typical auto parts store. Noticed the bulbs are quite inexpensive at Rock Auto. That got me to thinking, I wonder if they have a higher profit margin at auto parts store, because when you need a bulb, you need it, and will be willing to pay a premium.

I recently picked up a new set of headlight bulbs for a different car from RockAuto, they were about 2 bucks each. Similar bulbs locally were 15-20 bucks each!
I also needed some side marker lights, locally they were 8-10 bucks for a pair. Rock had them for less then a dollar a pair!

A few bucks for shipping and wait a couple days, no big deal...

Replaced a bolt on front sway bar that fell off. Doing watts link tomorrow.

Interesting, both mine fell of within 2 years time after changing them eventhough i tightened them to the specs.

Maybe drill a hole in front of the nut and put a cotter pin in it. That will prevent any nut from falling off.
