I had to replace this line when I was doing a timing belt job and broke it. I got the line, connectors and regulator for under $10 at a junkyard.

Today, I gave it a much needed bath. Full wash, claybar, wax, wheel clean and shine, glass waxed and clayed, interior cleaned, vacuumed and detailed. Took about 4 hours and 40 fire ant bites.

Yesterday i got my new line but when i looked at the engine it seems i have to remove the upper coolant hose with the plastic pipe that's connected to the thermostat housing to be able to reach the connection point for the fuel line, maybe even the intake. Is this what you did or how did you do it?

You might have to, to be honest,, when I installed my new one, I was halfway through a full timing belt job, so I had everything very much apart. Where it goes on on the bottom it just pushes on til it clicks, so you *might* be able to just fish it in there and push on the line til it clicks, but be careful;, because those plastic fittings can get brittle, and the gas isn't helping matters.

You might just want to bite the bullet and pop off the 5 intake bolts and the one up by the throttle body, Its's pretty easy. For reference, I broke mine while trying to yeet the new upper rad hose in. :cool-yo

Had an intermittent 'clunk' in the front end. Turns out one of the sway bar link pins was gone... just completely missing. Had both L and R sides replaced at local shop for total of $85...

Hi... I thought I replied to this, but perhaps I didnot. My apologies! Many sites, including the MOPAR site, lists these as 'in stock', but they really did not have it. My local Chrysler dealer checked their nationwide inventory and found that a dealer back east had one in stock, so I ordered it from them.... There were only TWO new available in the whole USA!

Today: oil & filter change, and mostly clean bill of health from local mechanic (except for slight weeping @power steering rack - fluid levels were barely down at all so he says it's likely fine - to be checked again @ next oil change).

This jives with my occasional P0551 errors (power steering pressure) , which only ever pop up when the car goes over 60 MPH. (I have been getting/resetting those P0551 codes for a year or so...)

Sounds like the problem I had replacing the wifie's headlamp assemblies for her 1993 Grand Marquis.
I had to by the left from one place, and the right from another.
The last two I could find in the USA!

The link on the PT passenger side broke a few winters back. It banged around for a couple weeks until the weather got nice enough for me to get under there and fix it... replaced both sides. The links were in stock at both the local parts places, indication of a common problem.
Did not notice any change in handling with the busted part. Would not have realized anything wrong if not for the noise.
