I finally got around to tinting my tail light housings, and also added some more decals to the front doors.

Woah! That looks good. Glad you provided some photos because I had no idea. This is giving me some possible ideas for my PT.

Added LED headlight bulb to one side rear light cluster - project I've had up my sleeve for a while and just got around to, so that the old girl has proper reversing lights rather than a poxy little red candle

Need to suss out what exactly is wrong with the reversing light wiring now before I do the other side. It's all pointing towards it being a gearbox switch failure

When I get sorted I'll do a "how to" but it's pretty simple and straightforward.

Finally fitted the first of the VW Beetle hub caps to the steel wheels.

eBay special..lol...if you search universal front splitters on eBay they have quite a few different sizes and styles. And same on the strut bars. Thanks for the compliments everyone... it's a work in progress for sure

Thumbs up Re: What did you do to your PT today?

... Got out a 10mm wrench and disconnected the positive battery cable!
Because... when I started this morning the CEL was on, and Ultragauge alarm went off, reporting a P0456 code. Ran back in the house and searched the forum, noted it was gas-cap related. Took the cap off (inspected, seal looked fine) carefully replaced the cap. Put the battery cable back on, let the UltraGauge reinitialize itself, and all was well again.

Such a silly little thing, I removed a couple 10mm bolts and slapped on a little piece of aluminum with a crescent moon between the turbo housing and wastegate. I know the BOV doesnt improve performance at this early stage of mods...but damm it makes me giggle every time it goes "pssst", so its worth it. I dont get to giggle like a drunk squirrel nearly often enough.
