Well my 02 Red Ride's battery gave up the ghost.... wrrrr, wrrrrr click click click. Yep, deader than Julius Caesar's ghost. Wally World el-cheapo $49 special and now crank-vroom. Good to go. Got 4 1/2 years out of the Wally World Sure Start (or what ever it's called) old battery. Guy there said ya got yer money's worth. Now worried about the Mopar battery in the 08 convert that is 7 years old BUT on a Schumacher Battery Conditioner.... fingers crossed.

Took Christine to the Doctor yesterday. Replaced the timing belt, Tensioner and Idler pulley,Cooling checked, a/c evacuated and recharged and changed the oil and filter with synthetic. Total cost was $907.37

Everything else in there was in great shape, including motor mounts.
Timing belt was nearing an end with fraying starting, both pulleys were very close to failure as one was noisey and the other not as free spinning as it should

Smile Re: What did you do to your PT today?

Went to Autozone, got a mail flyer coupon for 5 quart jug of Mobil 1 synthetic oil (I use 10w30) and a Mobil 1 extended life oil filter for $29... pretty good deal. Walmart sells the Mobile 1 same filter here for $9.97 and the Fram extended life similar for $8.97... still a pretty good deal. Doing a big filter adapt / conversion for my 08 convert to use the M1-301 in place of the tiny M1-102 filter... same price but twice the capacity. Write up on how to do the conversion to come....... stay tuned .
