Finished up Timing Belt/Serpentine/Alternator belts, slipped in a new crank seal, bolted her all back together, slapped on the radiator hose/filled her up and took her for a spin..She all worked right off..2006 touring model this time and the 2007 Base is running pretty good..Went to start replacing the Watts link, got her up in the air and couldn't find anything loose? Bumped my head on the spare tire and clunk she went, tightened up the spare tire holder bolt, dropped her off the Jacks/took her for a spin and guess I can forget the Watts link for a while,,,,Just glad I bumped my head..

Congratulations on the TB change. I take it that this was not your first. Once you do it 2-3 times, it's not too big of a traumatic event.

I did it 2-3 times on my first job

I loaded up the parts for Retro's journey to Colorado - looks like it is headed west on Saturday... After almost nine years of ownership this one really breaks my heart...

I put a "LIKE" on your post, not because you're getting rid of your PT, but that somebody is getting a beautiful 'vert that is truly one-of-a-kind PT, due to all blood, sweat, tears and $ that you've put into it.

And hopefully you'll find another PT in the not too distant future.

Got my PT washed. Sense I have owned it, I have never got it properly washed, I have watered it down to get the salt off, but never had it washed. After my recent road trip it deserved a wash.

I cleaned the rims when I got it home, looks even better now. Can't believe how nice my paint looks, Not bad for a $250 Cruiser, Except this thing has parking lot dings up the wazoo

Thanks Rckstein!!! It's been a fun ride, and I've had a lot of adventures and made a lot of friends along the way. I've seen plenty of PT "haters", but I have found they are some of the best people out there!!!

I got a few things done today and I'm very happy with how it all went. I installed interior glow in my footwells, upgraded to 4awg power power wire for my subs and painted some trim pieces matte black. Things are starting to come together. I hope to paint my steelies as soon as we get some decent weather here in MN.

Brought it to my friends shop for a pre-cross country move look over.
Fluids were fine, brake pads look good, tires still have meat on them. All good stuff!

Had my a.c. compressor replaced with a new Denso unit I scored for $190! NICE! The old one was failing. Also, the high pressure switch connector was broken, and the loom side of the connector had the locking tab broken off.
It's seated in the new high pressure switch, but I'll have to replace it. I'll find a good one from a salvaged car and attach it to mine.
