But the bumper cover is easy enough to remove, so I'll be able to switch it out pretty easily and quickly.

Yep, I found all 3 of mine were missing when I did the lights..I plan on buying some before I do bumper..I can't seem to find the 3-4 I have somewhere

Got the Dream Cruiser Series 5 Upper & Lower Grilles installed on my PT today:

Touring Edition Grilles:

Dream Cruiser Series 5 Grilles:

I really like how the lower section really shows up more now, before with the black plastic grille, you really don't see it and it looks like a big gaping hole at the bottom of the bumper.

But the chrome lower grille really stands out more.

Now I see why Wingman55 painted his silver

Good thing we're not talking about computers since 2 generations of a model would only cover the first year of manufacturing.

I really like the new lower grille and prefer the 'old' upper grille....

I never had to use the "phone" size before, I could always use the "small" size, but those are too big now. ????

Just wondering when that changed????
It's just the file size is now too big. If you update to the latest version ( https://github.com/bricelam/ImageRes...ses/tag/v3.1.0 ) then you can tweak the new "JPG QUALITY SETTING" down so that the "small" size will fit under the 97kB forum limit again...

Does this mean my transmission is going?

Haven't noticed it shift weird or anything, code is just pending, got my scared

someone make me feel better
I get random spurious 700 codes when its COLD, and I'm almost 100% certain its just because the battery voltage is dipping low ( oldish battery)... I sometimes get the low voltage code along with it too.

Usually they go away quick by themselves, once or twice I have had to pull the battery cables off and clean off the corrosion, then codes are cleared.

I REALLY need to buy a new battery before autumn!

No, it is a 2001.

Is there anything else running on that fuse? and which bugger is it?

Thank you very much.

edit - By the looks of it... it's the #8 15amp fuse. Anything else running off that fuse?
Nothing else on that fuse, its the "fog lamps" fuse. Was already pulled when I got the car five years ago, everything works fine

PS: Canada Model - "Build To Canada Mkt. Specifications, Canada Specifications Label, British Columbia Province Code"

Cool Re: What did you do to your PT today?

Cleaned the leather on my new project.
Then, used a black Leather Balm to recolor all the creases and heavy scratches on the front seats.

See my post in the "Interior Forum".

Installed a brand new battery in the green project PT today, as the other one was completely futzed. I noticed the charge idiot light stayed on after starting. Checked the codes and it's showing 0622. I am assuming I have a short somewhere or at worst a bad alternator? What are the most common gremlins for this code?

That would be this look:

If I want this look, it's only 4 screws to switch out the upper grille.

So I can have 2 looks, the above and this one:

But with either look, I will never go back to the black plastic lower grille, the chrome one looks good with either upper grille.
