Re: Check out midwest forum
I thought that was what we were going for. People with PTs. Hence the use of words like enthusiasts, families, cruisers. That was the impression I was getting from both Paul's and Doug's suggestions.

Darrin, I like it but did not notice Cruiser vs Cruisers wording. Maybe I
would go with Cruiser Club. Lets see what Joel thinks. Darrin , your really
good at this.

I am going to be out your way Thursday on business. Is there a good place
to stop for a cup of coffee or burger ?

Re: Check out midwest forum

Re: Check out midwest forum
Define out my way, the Pontiac area is not Romeo or Almont. . .

If you're going to be in the area where you guys went to the junk yard on Columbia, just south on Joslyn is the Oakland Dinner, across from GM Power Tran or at Columbia and Joslyn there is El Patron if you like simple Mexican food.

If you cut across Columbia to Baldwin, go north to the Rocket, just don't order the Rocket Burger unless you have your back seats down and the trunk door is working! Go south on Baldwin and try Wing Hing if you like Chinese in a 'rustic roadside joint.' A bit further south will get you to Acapulco for more traditional Mexican and a bit further south to Jalapeno's for 'hearty' Mexican.

That covers a couple of miles. . .

I'm with you Joel, PT Cruiser Club, car-centric, or PT Cruisers Club, people-centric, really doesn't make much difference to me. I feel the difference will be lost on most people so I'll leave it up to you guys to decide.

Here is a size example. Don't worry I have the original and it is very legible.

Re: Check out midwest forum
I will be about 100 miles west of Pontiac and will be coming back on Huron
Street. I have to look at a couple of houses. The last time I came back,
I stopped at a little place next to a army surplus, before I got back to the
loop by you. Nothing fancy but good coffee & food. I will be there about
11 If you don`t have anything going on, stop by.
Anything you decide is good. You have done all the work. Thanks.

Re: Check out midwest forum
Two Cruiser, but flexible, two no real preference, that leaves Paul to make the decision! NO FRICKEN PRESSURE PAUL!!! Just make a decision before Friday.

Daily Diner? I don't think I've ever been there, been in Kennedy's Irish Pub and Heroes, before it was Heroes. Unfortunately, my car is in the shop till at least Thursday and probably Friday. I don't know if you noticed the surface rust that had started on the 'dog leg' on the passenger side, but, I'm having it repaired before winter really hits.

If you guys having nothing to do this Saturday night, my nephew sings at a coffee house in downtown Lake Orion. His wife is trying to get as many people to show up as possible as a birthday present to him. He's on from 7 to 10 p.m. I'll be there around 6:30 so I can yell 'Surprise.'

If you'd like to come let me know so I can give your names to my niece. We'd only have to stay about an hour or so and then we could go across the street to a nice little restaurant for something to eat.

I park at the PNC bank at Park Blvd (Lapeer Rd) and Flint St and walk down a block to ABeanToGo Coffee Shop on Flint St.
