Default Did The Front Brakes Last Night

Back when I had the wheels off to attempt changing the control arms, I noticed the front pads were "down", so I made a mental note to "try" to get that done before the snow flies.

Well, with making our first out of town road trip in the PT tomorrow, I made the effort to get it done last night....and man, am I glad I did!

I wish I could figure out how to post pictures on here, because I took some pics of the old pads next to the new ones and my guess is that I had maybe another month or two left on them...

This poor little car...it's been so neglected and not maintained...but now....now... it's a happy car!! I think it's finally discovering that we are going to take care of it! Yeah... I firmly believe that cars have personalities...I've seen too many crazy things happen to not believe that...lol

If I can ever figure out how to post pics, I will...

At least they weren't metal to metal, like I've seen some people do. And then they CLAIM they never heard the first bit of noise from them!

Here's a video on how to do it. You will likely want to go to YouTube and view it full size:

It would help if you posted what the video was about when you are attaching links. Not everyone will click on the video to see what you are talking about.

Hey Steve,

It's pretty clear right there on the front of the video.

But don't sweat it, my friend. While you may critique the minutia of my posts for spite, I look upon you as a buddy that helps keep me on track. So don't get discouraged and keep on, keeping on.
