Default Got The Car Fax For My PT Cruiser Interesting Stuff!

Was kind of curios on the history on the PT I bought for $250. Saw a video online claiming to get a full carfax report for $3.5

Didn't think it was legit but I gave it a try.

Actually worked and I know a lot of cool stuff about my PT

Such as it was first sold with 25,000KM in 2005 (its a 2006 model)
Kind of curious how that happened.

New owner registered it as a commerical vehicle, Sold it at a fleet auction 8 months later after only putting 3,000KM on it.

Dealer sold it few months later.

However the new owner only had it for 8 months before selling it again.

Than I assume a nice older family owned it, They had it for 6 and a half years, And got it detailed many times. Was in a minor accident, Doesn't specify if my vehicle rear ended someone, or got rear ended but I cannot tell on the car.

Next owner had it for a year, Sold it to a transmission place

Than the gentleman I bought it from purchased it.

And now, Its mine

I am honestly suprised on its history. Its a 2006 with 160,000KM on it, And the body is rust free, I assumed the guy I bought it from bought it from an elderly couple or something that kept it in the garage and didn't drive it a ton.

You can go to this website and get the Build Sheet for your PT:

https://www.dodge.com/webselfservice/dodge/index.html

It will show everything that your PT came with when it was built.

In the left-hand column under YOUR VEHICLE click on Equipment Listing, then on the next page that loads, enter the VIN in the white box in the center of the page and click on the red Search button.

Thanks for this.
However the "Optional Equiptment" seems really dumb

surely "Cloth Low-Back Bucket Seats" are standard

looks like what came with the car isn't still there

Such as the aluminium wheels.

Is yours a Touring Edition?

This is the pic from your intro thread, those don't look like aluminum rims but the standard plastic wheel cover?

Your PT has had several owners and someone could have changed them in the past.

I know. It says features in from the dodge site that it has aluminium rims but just has the fake covers

also says it has "Extra 3 gallon fuel" ?

As previously stated, your PT has had several owners in its past history, any one of them could have switched out the rims.

The gas listed is what they put in the vehicle to deliver it.
