Default Left rear blinkers

I have a 2008 PT Cruiser and nothing on my left rear blinks no turn signal, hazard lights or even when I take the alarm off. I changed bulbs but not the problem. Any suggestions please

Welcome to the forum from East Texas.

Please go to the new members section and tell us more about your cruiser and yourself.

The problem could be a bad ground or faulty socket. Time to grab a test light or multimeter and do some testing.

Turn the hazards on and wiggle the bulb in the socket.

Does the running and brake light work?

What number light bulb did you replace it with?

As already posted some members have had bad sockets.

My 07 had the exact same issue. Good bulb, good socket, power to the socket,
Good ground, no short. New multi function switch. TIPM was bad. I replaced it with a remanufactured one by Dorman parts. Got it at cost through a friend.
$230.00, lifetime warranty. AutoZone is a Dorman dealer. Installed in under an hour,no flash from Chrysler needed. Every thing works fine. Even the intermittent gas cap light hasn't come on.
