My luggage compartment light doesn't work. What's the design, I mean should it light only when the lights on the car are on or should it light as soon as the back door is opened? Any special typicall problem one should check first?

It should light any time the doors are open. Dumb question, did you check to see if the bulb is burned out?

I had a spare one of those. I THINK it was in with all the other stuff I sent to Handy Cruiser.

It was just a bad contact around the bulb, put led in so it's even brighter.
