Default Eletrical problems,

Howdy once again, here om behalf of my girlfriends 02' pt limited. For awhile the car has been dying randomly but always starts back up (maybe once every three weeks), a week times ago obd code p0320,p1864 it died wouldnt start for awhile like nothing it came back on.had camshaft and crank shaft sensor replaced when heads were replaced almost year ago. Yesterday it did it again, with added codes of p0340,p1193. That says camshaft sensor crankshaft sensor, pcm power failure, iat sensor? (New) i have had the battery cables both positve and negative replaced( due to bad maintenance and damaged wires) only thing i could find out of testing sensors and power, fluid leak got into crankshaft sensors wire harness connection. Clean it with a cloth. After 45minutes of checking fuses and connections it started when tried, any suggestions would be grateful, thank you for your time.

Default Re: Eletrical problems,

P0340 - No Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Failure Conditions:

Possible Causes:

1. Camshaft Position Sensor connector is damaged, open or it is shorted
2. Camshaft Position Sensor signal circuit is open or shorted to ground or to battery voltage or 5 volt circuit
3. Camshaft Position Sensor 5 volt circuit is open or shorted to ground or to battery voltage
4, Camshaft Position Sensor ground circuit is open
5. Camshaft Position Sensor is damaged or has failed
6. PCM has failed

The wiring harness that runs down to the alternator and the crank sensor is common to drop down and rub on the half shaft! Very hard to see from the bottom side of the car.
