Default Donít worry! Iíll be back

Iíll be back with more PT stuff. My passion has not waned at all since my car failed on me! Iíll always love the style of these cars and I am not willing to give up on my goal of what I want my car to be. The reason Iím saying this is because I just recently got a misdemeanor for reckless driving and I have no transportation or much money at all. Hopefully I win in court because my fines will be high if I donít. Wish me luck and stay tuned! If anyone has questions on repairing Ptís Iíll be happy to help. Just send me a pm and I will reply as soon as I can.

start saving! i beat something similar with a lawyer costing me a G, and they still charged me $750 in court costs. even if you beat the charge and keep your license, they'll still fine you enough to make you learn from it.

you never said in your other thread... when you broke the engine, did you win the race?

dont get a lawyer, self represent. you can learn as you go and get consultations with lawyers without being represented. there is law libraries, books and resources available.

you can do that in canada? my lawyer sees the same judge in the same building every day and they play golf together. with a lawyer here, a good lawyer, case outcomes are determined well before you get to court. you are not going to school a judge and the prosecutor by reading a little. lmmfao

Depending on what else is on your driving record, it may be taken care of by deferred adjudication. But you still basically pay the same fines and fees, as if you plead guilty because that's really all they want is $ and how to hurt you, through your wallet. But if you stay out of trouble for whatever time period is set, the error won't go on your driving record.

+1

Someone I used to know had gotten it reduced to a minor driving violation from a serious charge one time and when he asked his lawyer how he did it the lawyer said that it was his turn to win a case. Of course, there was other factors involved that helped make the case go either way.
