Default Hood Struts

Hey guys N Gals!

I've noticed a few of you have replaced the factory goofy yellow hood stick with a pair of gas struts, like many other cars have from the factory (My wife's Lumina has them)

Where did you find them , how hard was the install and how much did it cost?

Thanks!!

Does it come with all the bolts, etc.? The instruction page posted says to install a certain kind of bolt, etc., kind of implying you have to get your own.

Simple is better. My, not that old, hood struts became weak and would hit me in the face. Goofy yellow sticks look pretty good while swearing.

It's easy to do. No drilling required. You will need a couple of open-ended box wrenches of the right dimension to tighten the nuts. I'd attach some pictures, but only postage-stamp sized photos are now allowed, and I'm too lazy right now to downsize them.

Hey dougs, what's an open ended box wrench? Just kidding man, I'm sure you meant a combination wrench.
