Default Vent Switch Issue or possibly something worse?

Not sure how to embed the video in the post but the description of the issue in whole is in the video.

But, My vent switch is either broken, the cable is caught on something or frayed or broken or it could be an entirely different issue or worse than what I think it is. Which I think it's the cable. But, Video in the description.

On the back side of the control switch you will find a solid steel cable in a flexible liner. I fixed mine by straightening the kink in the solid wire and loosening the screw attaching the other end to the heater housing, that seemed like the binding point in mine.
A new cable will also work but it may also kink if you tighten the heater housing screw.
Be gentile after you fix it.

Ill look into that. Thanks. I hope thats the issue but something tells me it isnt the cable. I just hope its not the entire air something assembly. Thats expebsive.

If its the cable refer to the last post. If its a blend actuator, its a (very tiny) motor driven device that opens and closes the valve.

Adter taking apart the center bezel and looking into it. The cable to the vent selection was bent/kinked. So i straightened it and it works temporarily until i get money to fix it regularly instead of using credit cards. But at least its not a big issue.
