CRICKET SOUND FROM ENGINE ?

Sounds like it may be yet another belt. Rubber, unlike most things, shrinks when it gets warm, so when you start it's loose, then as it warms it tightens.

I hope this information is useful to someone
after weeks of putting up with this cricket noise I phoned Chyrsler Canada.. and they arranged for the car to be seen at a dealership.

The dealership had the car for 3 days..

The result ........... turns out the noise was coming from the power steering pump pulley which was replaced

Hope this info may be useful to some
