Default Can ramps be used on PT Cruiser?

Has anybody had any luck using ramps on a PT Cruiser? By "ramps", I mean the small ramps used for servicing the vehicle.

The PT Cruiser is so low to the ground, I'm not sure ramps can be used.

Yes, the low profile black plastic ones work fine.

Same here. The black plastic ones that they sell at Harbor Freight are just right for a PT Cruiser with factory suspension.

Why would you think ramps couldn't be used???
Ramps only go under the tires.
The higher, the better!

Personally, I use my in ground storm shelter in the garage!

If you use ramps in a garage with a center drain and the concrete pad is sloped towards the drain, the lowest part of the "skirt" below the bumper will catch on the ramps going up and down.
I learned this the hard way.
My ramps are high profile and were on slightly higher ground then the tires.

Make sure you are working on level ground and that the tires and ramps are clean and dry.
Easy on the gas on the way up, cuz over shooting high profile ramps can damage your car.

Have fun servicing your PT!

Some of us with low riding vehicles would place a 2x4 at the base of the ramp for clearance concerns starting up the ramp .

Over shooting the ramp is less likely to happen but shooting the ramp from the drive wheel out from under the car if you dont get enough positive forward speed when starting up the ramp can easily happen.

All ramps have a stated weight maximum capacity.

Don't exceed it!
