This is a long shot, but I seen tv show that had people who were in love with their car. Any chance you have a perverted neighbor leaving behind some KY jelly? In all searousness, any chance the cv joint is packed with grease that is liquifying and seeping out?

If you have the right antifreeze it should be red

Funny you say that because everything on that side, including the CV joint appears to be wet. I'll check that.
