Default Wiring harness replacement

I have been having trouble with my o2 heater circuit. Have been getting a high voltage code for both upstream and downstream. It is for a 2004 pt with 2.4 turbo. I see two fixes. Can someone help?

1. I run a new ground after the heater circuit wires for the o2 sensors join together, If the code persists then try and track down the pin that the other side of the heater wires go to. I don't know how to tell what pin the heater wires go to on the ecm.

2. I purchase the complete engine wiring harness from mopar for the 2.4L turbo 2004. But I can't find the right one.

Check the ground from the O2 connector end with a meter. Or just do the repair

My o2 heater circuit high was bad grounds on the left fender,
Copper wires corrode like your copper drain pipe in your sink.

Cut the smaller wires off the eyelet bunch leaving the heavier gauge wires on the eyelet.
Purchase some new eyelets, Strip the wires back about 3/4 inch and attach two of the smaller wires to each new eyelet.
I soldered mine. No more problems.

Good luck.

I would suggest going to the dealer and asking for the part number after providng the VIN number to your Pt Cruiser. You might have to go to 2 or more dealers as some of my dealers won't give out part numbers in my area.

On page 131 it gives information on the different part numbers for engine wiring harness.

does no one remember, This is a common issue with Turbo PT's.

Your PCM is fried buddy.

The heat from the turbo melts the internals and it always fails with a O2 heater circuit code.

bet if you replace the PCM it fixes your issue.
