Default watts link

Replaced the watts link bellcrank on my PT only about 13000 mi ago. Noticed recently some noise in the rear when travelling over the bumps in our lousy roads. Upon inspection, there seems to be a little wiggle between the bellcrank and the through bolt. Is that normal? Can't remember how tight it fit after replacement.

I never had that noise with mine. Did you torque it to spec? And before you ask, I DO NOT know the torque specs, okay?

It's probably bad again. there shouldnt be angle wiggle when it's good. Are your shocks in good working order. If another part is worn, it could cause premature wear.

Well, couldn't stand the rumbling noise in the rear any longer so got carried away yesterday. After about a 5 hour thrash on the driveway, the shocks, watts link bellcrank, and both upper and lower arms and ball joints all got replaced. There was some wear in the bellcrank (after only 13K mi) but the original arms didn't look too bad. The shocks were wasted. The PT is 08 with 76K on the clock. Rides good now, no noise.
