Default Celebrate, SOOO BIG's turned over 90000 miles

SOOO BIG'll have to forgive me. I didn't notice he was about to turn over at 90000 miles. The best I could do was to take a photograph and document his mileage at 90060
He might be gettin' up there in mileage but he still looks and runs like new.
What's your PT mileage?

Rob. I hadn't thought to run SOOO BIG out on the interstate, I-95 and wind him up to some ferocious number. Though not a bad idea.
I just decided to celebrate the advent of 90000 miles with the sun shining on his dash this morning. So in the parking lot, at 0mph., I took the photo when I discovered 90060 glowing on the speedometer.
Of course, now that his rear bumper is back on and the paint is nicely matched and buffed out I'm sure that if I ever tried, he's capable of speeds just under the sound barrier. Isn't that what the rear spoiler is for?

So true. My favorite is when one project leads you directly into another...

You're doing front struts because they need to be done, and you do the rear shocks because there's a good deal on buying them with the struts, and replacing the rear shocks you find the one parking brake isn't working, and then the cable end at the parking brake handle pops off when you work on checking the parking brake adjustment, and the parking brakes won't release after you replace the parking brake shoes, and you finally find out they upgraded the levers that set the parking brakes, and then that chain of projects finally ends. Ah well, I'm laughing about it now. It needed the work, it's done, yeah, and it passed inspection too.

Sorry about hijacking the thread,

Congratulations on hitting 90,000.

We've had ours around 13-1/2 years ('04 bought new). It has around 125,200+ on it right now. We had several issues that were covered by warranty early on—1.Water Pump at around 40K miles; 2. Head gasket at 50k miles; 3. Transmission replaced at 68k miles.

It's probably overdue for a timing chain replacement (we did one at 40k when water pump was replaced), but we're planning on selling it next year and may let the next owner deal with it.
