Default 2006 Touring/2.4l/convertible-Purge Solenoid

Busy title...

So, Can someone tell me where the purge servo is located on this car? (and maybe how to change it?)

I've seen several youtube videos but they don't seem to be what MY car looks like..

2006, Touring convertible 2.4l, Turbo...

Also can someone point me to a place to get a service manual? Tried Ebay but the cost of the CD was a but more than I can afford at the moment..

Thanks, Kerry

What is making you replace the purge servo?

Random P0441 codes being thrown. Tried the usual things, including the gas cap. Understand that there are other things that can cause this code, but many have resolved this by replacing the solenoid. And it's easier than pulling the gas tank..

What page in the manual did you find this pic:

It looks like this area of the engine bay, passenger side near the firewall, but on my PT, there is nothing in that area like in the pic that you found:

I searched through some old pics I had of the engine bay and I found it, on my PT it's on the drivers side under the master cylinder:

You'll have to remove the airbox to get to it.
LionPT likes this.

The page you posted from is for the turbo, things could be different on a turbo PT.

Did you read my post #7? Look under the master cylinder on the drivers side, like where it is on my PT.

Yes, I have a Turbo....still looking. The spot under the master cylinder, pictured above, is pretty much inaccessible without removing the battery and trying to move the fuse box out of the way.
