Default Which what to go?

Here’s my situation:

I have a 2006 PT Cruiser Limited with a NA 2.4 and a manual 5 speed. My neighbor is selling one of her PT Cruisers. It’s a 2003 Woody with a NA 2.4 with an automatic transmission.

My PT Cruiser has 92k miles and was involved in a crash. Airbags did not deploy, but the driver’s side front and rear doors were replaced with factory doors off 2 other cars. I did notice a small dent in the floor plan. I replaced all the struts, the timing belt and the 2 drive belts, the water pump and tensioner, all 3 motor mounts, the hoses and thermostat, plugs, wires and the valve cover gasket. I upgraded the stereo to a pioneer with backup camera, all the speakers and added the Mopar subwoofer. The front bumper cover was torn, so I replaced it, but haven’t painted it yet. I added the rear factory splash guards/mud flaps and the protective pad that goes on the top of the rear bumper cover. I have the chrome trim that goes at the bottom of the doors, but haven’t installed them yet. The only problem I’ Having is bleeding the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder.

The 2003 Woody is a perfectly stock with 67k miles. The only problem is a small spot on the woody sticker on the rear hatch.

She’s asking $2,000. I could get somewhere between $1,000 and $1,500 for mine.

What would you do and why?

Thanks for your time and expertise!

2003 PT Cruiser “Woody” Limited 2.4 N/A, automatic transmission, bequeathed to me with 62,500 miles, rear splash guards, Mopar subwoofer, rear bumper guard

With all the money & repairs you put in the '06, you might as well keep it. JMO

It just depends on which PT would make you happier. After spending a lot of time fixing up a car, I then sometimes lose my love for it and I am ready for something else. If you like the idea of fixing up a PT Woody (which it will likely needs some level of repairs), then go for it. Change is good.

That's a tough one. Go with the 30 year old, never married, or the 20 year old divorcee with kids.
